See how opera is made behind the scenes starring Brian Cheverie as The Impresario, Valerian Ruminski as his assistant Mr. Buttle, David Macadam as the agent Mr. Hogbottom, Courtney Ross as the Diva, Emily Yancey as The Ingenue and accompanied by Maestro Matthias Manasi from Berlin.

Mr. Matthews is a world traveled singer with an education at The Academy of Vocal Arts in Philadelphia PA as well as SUNY Buffalo. He has appeared with the Metropolitan Opera, NYCO, Opera de Montreal, Seattle Opera, Portland Opera, Santa Fe Opera, Florida Grand Opera, Opera Ireland as well as making his debut at Carnegie Hall and Avery Fisher Hall in NYC.
Mr. Matthews has won multiple voice competitions including the Richard Tucker Award, The Licia Albanese Competition, The Lincoln Center Martin Segal Award and the Gerda Lissner Foundation Award. He is featured on Naxos Records, New World Records and Duetsche Grammophone DVD.
Mr. Matthews has taught for The John Robert Powers Talent Agency as well as for Westchester Community College in Valhalla NY.
He lives in Long Beach, CA.
