Event description

Description

Engineers Without Borders UBC is dedicated to building the capacity of young leaders to drive positive social change. Our work is founded upon the belief that a more equitable and sustainable future will depend on a new generation of engaged and empowered citizens.

Please join us for an inspiring evening as we explore innovative solutions to global challenges. The evening will feature vibrant stories from the EWB community and interactive activities that will spark meaningful conversations. Enjoy cocktails and hors d’oeuvres and bring someone that inspires you!

Doors open at 6:00 pm

Dress code: Cocktail attire

All proceeds will go towards sending UBC’s Junior Fellows, Liam Crozier and Jory Wong, to their respective placements. The Junior Fellowship program selects 20 university leaders across Canada to work at EWB Canada’s ventures. This year, the UBC chapter is proud to send Liam and Jory to work at Mining Shared Value and LishaBora in Toronto and Kenya respectively.

If you are interested in sponsoring our chapter, please email jf.ubc.ewb@gmail.com to request our sponsorship package!
