Description

Christ In the Windows- A conference on the Bible Passages depicted in the Ascension Chapel Window

Before his ascension back to his Father, our Lord Jesus Christ, “beginning with Moses and all the prophets, interpreted all the scriptures concerning himself” while walking with his disciples on the Road to Emmaus (Lk 24:27). As we celebrate the Ascension of Jesus Christ, join us as we learn more about Christ’s work for us from the Ascension Chapel stained glass windows. Not only are the Ascension Chapel windows an artistic marvel, but its biblical narratives have tremendous Christological meaning and substance. Each of the Old Testament Bible stories foreshadows Christ’s life from crucifixion to ascension. At this Bible Institute, we will not only learn more about Christ’s life, but also how to read the Old Testament stories in the Bible that prophesy and foreshadow Christ’s life.

Wine & Cheese reception, and Dinner and Lunch included.

Complimentary nursery provided for ages 5 and under.
