Event description
The Industry Sessions is a conversation series where restaurateurs across North America dish on the realities of restaurant ownership.

About this Event

Not all chefs serve food on white tablecloths within four walls. The career of a chef can take many forms, from a chip truck in a parking lot to a farm dinner to a Michelin-starred tasting menu.

On Monday, November 11th, join us at 7PM at GoodWork as we talk to some of the city’s favorite chefs about the varied ways in which they’ve forged their own path, and succeeded, in the wild west of the restaurant business.

Panelists include:

Misti Norris - Petra & The Beast

Reyna Duong - Sandwich Hag

Joel Orsini - Allevare

Anastacia Quinoñes-Pittman - José

Donny Sirisavath - Khao Noodle Shop

Tickets are $10 and include noshes from Momos & Nood Boyzz. Cash bar. 100% of the proceeds from The Industry Sessions, which we have taken across the country have traditionally gone to WCR: Women Chefs & Restaurateurs, a non-profit that advances the voice of women in the hospitality industry.

As we learned that one of our guest speakers was crowdfunding to pay for hospital bills, we decided to donate the proceeds from this event to her. As a beloved member of the Dallas community who is dedicated to giving back, we thought it would be appropriate to do the same.

With the blessing of WCR, all proceeds from this event will go to Sandwich Hag’s Reyna Duong.

Hosted by: Ivy Knight, Food Writer and Former Line Cook
