JAZZ SINGER SERIES • DOORS @ 7:30PM • SHOW @ 8:30PM

Saskatoon is blessed with some fine jazz singers and this evening features four of our city’s best. Michelle Auser Clancy studied jazz at MacEwan University in Edmonton, is an elementary school teacher, and sings with the Saskatoon vocal jazz ensemble Solstice. Graham Dyck was the longtime featured vocalist for Maurice Drouin’s group, and is currently dividing his musical efforts between song writing and crooning jazz. BJ Harris is a founding member of the a cappella group Streetnix, teaches elementary school band, and directs the 200-member pop vocal ensemble, Joy of Vox. Robyn Knight is a teacher and the featured vocalist in the very popular Stone Frigate Big Band. Arranger and pianist extraordinaire Kim Salkeld is the music director for this show and is joined by Sheldon Corbett (sax), Nevin Buehler (bass), and Arlan Kopp (drums).
