Event description
"Your joy is sorrow unmasked...The deeper that sorrow carves into your being, the more joy you can contain." ~ Khalil Gibran

About this Event

This is an opportunity to come together to honour our grief and bear witness to one another in a sacred, ritual space.

There is no grief too big or too small for our circle - from the state of the earth to personal change, loss, and ancestral trauma.

Our time together will involve: a ritual opening, deepening practice, sharing circle, solo time, and a closing round.

Registration: Space is limited to a maximum of 7 participants. We recommend registering early to save your spot.

Cost: We request a contribution of $10 - $50 (recommended $30+, approximate value). No one will be turned away due to lack of funds.

*There is one scholarship spot reserved for anyone who identifies as BIPOC or otherwise marginalized. Please contact Cadence to secure this spot: innercadence@gmail.com or 778-732-2972.

Facilitators: This ritual is held by a team of Cadence Moffat McCann, James Pratt and Jaz Snider. We honour our shared lineage of teachers including: Shauna Janz, Francis Weller and Joanna Macy/The Work That Reconnects. We believe strongly in the healing power of heart connection and grieving as a village. See below for more detailed information about each of us.

Stay Connected: We will be holding regular grief rituals. If you wish to receive invitations, please let us know: innercadence@gmail.com.

"[The] combination of care, a really well-structured experience, and the creation of the sense of sacred was excellent. I came away from it feeling like something had shifted in a positive and deep way. It renewed my sense of what is possible." ~ Robin F

*This gathering will be held on the unceded lands of the Lkwungen, W̱SÁNEĆ, and neighbouring Indigenous Peoples. We wholeheartedly commit to supporting a process of decolonization of this place.
