Description
As the springtime sun warms the earth and the season of Lent draws to a close, the King’s Chorus presents SALVE REGINA : SONGS FOR MARY, meditation, praise, and jubilation, directed by Nick Halley.
The program features David Greenberg & Ensemble Regale with Paul Halley on organ. Highlights will include interpretations of the Salve Regina from ancient to modern, from Gregorian Chant to Joseph Haydn and Arvo Pärt, as well as Buxtehude’s Jes Meines Lebens Leben. The concert will conclude with Antonio Vivaldi’s Magnificat for strings, choir, and organ.
