Friends Who Are Going
Event description

Description

Each year, The King's University welcomes alumni, supporters, and friends to gather for an evening of dinner, entertainment, and a silent auction that showcases items donated by members of our community. The evening is an opportunity to give thanks and celebrate The King’s University with the community that has helped shape and support this institution. Please join us as we gather together to plan for our future, applaud our achievements, enjoy each other's company, and delight in some musical entertainment!

This year's King's Harvest Banquet and Silent Auction, will be joined by guest speaker, Jeremiah D. Basuric, who graduated from King's in 2013, and continues to partner with King's students and professors. Basuric also serves as the Community Engagement Coordinator at The Mustard Seed and recently became campus pastor of a new church plant in Ottewell called mosaicHouse East. When he's not busy, you can find him playing soccer or heading to the mountains with his wife, Sarah, who also attended King's, and is now a Registered Nurse.

King's students from the Faculty of Music will be performing during the entertainment portion of the evening! Stay tuned for more details.

You'll also hear about recent successes and future dreams that position King's as a leader in Christian university education building a more humane, just, and sustainable world.

Doors open at 5:00pm for an opportunity to mingle, peruse the silent auction, and enjoy delicious appetizers. Wine and beer, by the glass or by the bottle, will be available for purchase (cash, debit or credit). Dinner will be served at 6:00pm.

If you don’t want the night to end, join us for a Late Night Cafe in the Level Coffee House on campus.

Following the banquet and auction, enjoy coffee, desserts, and a performance by folk artists 100 Mile House, winners of the Edmonton Folk Music Festival Emerging Artists Award and the 2016 All-Albertan Song Contest. This event will be held in the Level Coffee House and tickets are limited.

This event is ticketed separately and available for purchase for only $25!
