The Lifers is a sister-fronted power folk collective from Guelph Ontario. The six-piece straddles tender textures and explosive energy, charming audiences with their storytelling and unpredictable dynamics. Liv and Anita Cazzola's intertwined voices are nested in cello, accordion, upright bass, percussion and guitar. The Lifers will be touring to the East Coast with Annie Sumi in May, 2017. Annie Sumi is an acclaimed independent artist from Southern Ontario that breathes the subtleties of the great Canadian Landscape into her songs and stories.
The Wildflower Tour will feature the songs and stylings of Annie Sumi and The Lifers. Together, this caravan of seven musicians have created a symphony of sound that invites the magic of collaboration and harmony!
The Lifers and Annie Sumi are thrilled to be playing the *second last show of the tour* in Glen Williams at the Glen Williams Town Hall! As a special treat, local roots-rock duo Bare Sierra will be starting the night off with a Springsteen and Neil Young inspired set, and the one and only Phil Lewin will be hosting the show!
