On November 13th 2015 one of our city’s landmarks, the Vancouver Art Gallery will open the doors to 350 guests adorned in Suits and Little Black Dresses for this Gala. This time we have invited The Canadian Men In Suits to join us on the red carpet and the slogan is “Wear It For The Cause”. (wearitforthecause.com)
The Little Black Dress Gala is a community engaging fashion and fundraising platform held for Help Change My City non-profit organization. The aim of the event is to draw attention to established and emerging designers who are not only given to their craft but also have a heart for showcasing their style and ingenuity for positive social impact in Vancouver.
The LBD Gala is a vibrant, inclusive environment. It welcomes socially minded guests, community influencers, diplomats, emerging leaders, government officials, educators, individuals from all types of professions and companies all in one place to make a difference in the lives of marginalized youth. The evening celebrates the city of Vancouver’s multiculturalism, performing arts, fashion, jazz music and the positive change that is happening in the lives of the youth.
Join us as we celebrate an evening of fashion, awards, cocktails, wine, auction and artistry. All are welcome.

Help Change My City
A community intentionally designed with mentorship, personal development, personal growth, leadership and skills training at its core. Our dedication is to break down the negative reputation and stigma that surrounds youth and young people who have had a difficult and troubled past. In turn, we show them that they are valuable, loved, cared for, part of community and have great potential to positively impact their future and the community they live in.
