Description

In partnership with A Different Booklist, you are invited to a special evening of storytelling and Carribean music on October 19, 2018.

This event is the 2nd leg of the Friendship Journey Eddie Bullen, award winning Juno musician and Don Simpson, Chief Storyteller of the Innovation Expedition, began late last year. It is a friendship and musical storytelling experience with a mission to promote compassionate high performance and cross cultural harmony. The first event was held in June 2018.

The Oct 19 journey focuses on "Creative ways of attaining our mission by presenting inspiring stories of people of African origin". Within this journey, we will search and discover the magical global impact of musicians and storytellers from the Caribbean. On this journey, we will be joined by Hawk Smith, the Clinical Director of the Centre for Survivors of Torture at Bellevue hopsitcal in New York City, and also the founder and lead of the band known as Casa Mantequilla.

Join us for a fun evening, full of stories, music, education and laughter. Our agenda:
