Event description

The Mindful Series is a community gathering, aiming to bring us closer together and closer to ourselves.

To be mindful is to bring awareness, without judgement, to the present moment. Start your week off right with us and with you.

Running every Sunday in March, starting on the 4th, we'll be featuring Both Cally Bailey and Katie Mckenzie. These two ladies are both passionate about meditation, movement and mindfulness. If you are looking for a way take the time, space and energy to reconnect with yourself, and allowing that to carry into the busyness of the week, you should come pop by @ 915am!

Week 4 - March 25th The Block

Katie Mckenzie

Taking it back to the basics, the building blocks of movement, connection and strength. Your breath is the foundation, the base of movement of mind, body and soul. Here you will use the philosophies of Qi Gong to purge, tone and rejuvenate your spirit while using the deep connecting movements of pilates to strengthen your body. Do not block it, do not resist it. Prepare to sweat, to move, to connect. This is the Block.

April Series - Yoga

We are bringing yoga back into our space, every Sunday starting April 1st! Who will be leading us this April you might ask? None other than Eleanor (Ellie) Roberts, a Kinesiologist, and Yoga/Pilates Instructor.

A little bit about Ellie...

Ellie (Eleanor) is a graduate from the University of British Columbia where she completed her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology and Master degree in Management. As a child she was heavily immersed in yoga, dance, soccer and horseback riding, but ask her about most sports and she has at least tried them.

She completed her 200hr Yoga teacher training with RYT Naked Truth Yoga, 35hr intensive Restorative Yoga Training with The Path Yoga Centre and 60hr Mat Pilates training from Physical Institute with Marta Hernandez. Yoga has helped her to find a place of balance, and further develop the give and take between flexibility and strength – something most people can benefit from.

Movement on all planes fascinates her. She is driven to find a way to excite people into moving happily and easily, making exercise a driver for accomplishments instead of pain.

You can find her in and out of yoga studios, teaching fitness classes, riding horses, running, biking or in the gym always striving for a challenge

We connected with Ellie through our live yoga window activation during the holidays, and are so stoked to have her back in our space to bring in all the community vibes!

We hope to see you there!
