About this event

Robert Rotenberg is the criminal lawyer and novelist who’s made his fictional Toronto detective, Ari Greene, one of the top homicide sleuths in the world of contemporary mysteries.

On Monday, February 1, Robert launches his sixth Ari Greene novel, Downfall, about a spate of murders of homeless women in the Humber Valley.

This is your invitation to join us at this free RamsayTalk to hear from the author, as well as from one of the city’s most famous real sleuths, Mark Mendelson, former lead investigator with the Toronto Homicide Squad. Mark will interrogate Robert on the business of murder -- and murder-writing. Plus we’ll have brief readings from the novel from some surprise celebs.

We also encourage you to buy your copy of Downfall which will be shipped to you by Ben McNally Books. The first 100 copies sold will be delivered at no cost thanks to the generosity of Paul and MaryJane Torrie. Once we have sold 100 copies, you will need to pay for the delivery.

So please join us for this RamsayTalk that strikes close to the bone.

Date: Monday, February 1

Time: 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. ET

Cost: FREE - A Zoom link will be sent to you 24-hours prior to the event.

Book: You can purchase a copy of Downfall for $24 + $11 shipping when you register. The books will be shipped on February 2nd.
