The Niagara Leaders' Conference 2017
Sat, March 25, 2017, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM EDT
Registration and refreshments from 9:00am, Program from 9:30am to 3:00pm.
All leaders have to communicate – to inspire, direct, influence, encourage, interpret, and manage disputes. Whether as a Rector, Warden, Parish Council member, Associate Priest, Deacon, or a parish program leader, we need to talk to people to get anything done. Do it well – and the ministry can thrive. Mess it up – and the ministry will suffer. Teams of leaders face the same challenge as a group: the better we communicate with each other, the better it is for the ministry as a whole.
This one-day event will offer you and your parish leadership team three excellent workshops to enhance your communication skills and your effectiveness as leaders in the church. No matter how much experience or training we have, we can always communicate better – because communications is one of those life-long learning challenges that’s never “done” and can always improve.
Workshops: Personality Dimensions, Assertive Communications and Emotional Intelligence. Every participant will enjoy all three over the course of the day.
Fee includes lunch and all materials. If finances are a challenge, please contact Jane Wyse.
This event is supported by a subsidy from the Diocese of Niagara.
