A taste of Europe, based on Italian & German Christmas Markets

Admission: Individual: $5.00 plus GST, Family Carload $10 plus GST

Hop in your car and head out to Edmonton's countryside for the "Northern Lands - Prairie Collective Gourmet Holiday Market" at Prairie Gardens & Adventure Farm – just 25minutes from Edmonton on 97 St. This is the first ever of it's kind in the Edmonton region - with a focus on sustainable local grown and handmade gourmet foods. Select local farmers, chefs,and artisans are offering gourmet holiday fare, with expert wine and spirits advice, cheery bonfires and cozy warm greenhouses, this will be a unique and engaging way to kick off the holiday season, in the tradition of winter Christmas markets of Europe!

If you are looking for unique, delicious holiday fare for your sideboard, and thoughtful gifts for the holiday season, make a point to come shop the show. Not only will you find unique handcrafted gifts for your loved ones, you will also be supporting our local farms and talented Edmontonian chefs, artists and artisans.
Market offerings include Prairie Gardens winter vegetables and grains, RGE RD made pâtés, smoked meats, sausages, wood fired oven breads, fine art, UnWined fine wine and whiskey tastings, and roasted chestnuts on open fire, Fine Art, Woodworks and more!

The whole family will enjoy the expedition! In addition to Christmas shopping, a visit with Santa, outdoor winter fun, Christmas caroling, folk music, there will be polar express trackless train rides, winter bale mazes, indoor petting farm in a heated greenhouse, there are indoor tours of a sustainable year round micro greens greenhouse production at this small scale local farm.

RGE RD Restaurant / The Butchery - Offsales
RGE RD is Canadian Cuisine. Our tastes and dishes are inspired by our country’s fields and forests, our mountains and oceans. Explore the tastes that Western Canada has to offer. We source ingredients and provisions from farms and small-scale producers across Western Canada. Our menu is dictated by the season, and we aim to use every part of every ingredient.

RGE RD is offering Chef handcrafted: Pâtés, Rillettes, Terrines, Hand Made Gourmet Sausage, Smoked Meats, and wood fired oven Baked Breads, Gingerbread. Onsite: Roasting chestnuts on the Fire, Fire Roasted Snacks and Lunch Items to sample.

Join Gurvinder Bhatia aka the @EdmontonWineGuy to sample his best wine and whisky picks for the holiday season! UnWined is accepting Christmas orders for fine Wines, Spirits & Ales! Featuring wines and whiskies from around the world and much more! Gurvinder is a wonderful community builder and is the wine editor for Quench Magazine (Canada's most widely distributed food and beverage publication); a supporter of wine/food/travel/culture; Global TV's wine columnist; VIA Certified Italian Wine Expert; international wine judge; Vinomania consulting; and is the UnWined wine buyer.

UnWined is offering Wine and Whisky Tastings and will be taking orders for the holiday season.

Prairie Gardens & Adventure Farm
Prairie Gardens is home of the Northern Lands Prairie Collective Gourmet Holiday Market on December 3rd. Just a short 25 min drive north of Edmonton, it is a local, sustainable small scale farm, offering green and creative fun over the Christmas season! There will be Prairie Christmas fun at the holiday market! A visit with Santa and a U-snap Christmas Photo Scene, Free Polar Express Trackless Train Rides*, or Hayrides*, a Petting Farm in Greenhouse Pavilion, Christmas Folk Music, Christmas Carolling, Bon Fires, Gourmet Handmade Holiday Fudge, Indoor Greenhouse Crafts and Sustainable Year Round Small Scale Farm Micor Greens Production Greenhouse Tours. Small Extra fees apply for wild bird feeder crafting, and foraged winter bouquets. Holiday Fire Roasted Lunch is available. * Hay rides / train rides are weather / snow dependent.

Prairie Gardens is offering Winter Vegetables, Wheat Berries, Dried Pulse Crops, plus Handcrafted Fudge, Foraged Winter Bouquets, Herb Rubs, Teas, Hot Chocolate, Farmer's Festive Lunch.

Lorraine Shulba - Fine Art Artist & Owner Little Blue Bug Studio
Contemporary landscapes, whimsical and carefree blossoms are the mainstay of this Edmonton based artist - all are vibrant works of art! Lorraine's work had been in numerous publications such as Synchronicity, Mosaic magazine and Prime-Time magazine. She has worked on children's books, advertising campaigns and many other exciting projects.

Little Blue Bug Studio is offering fine art. "I like to inject my love for colour and life in every illustration and painting I create."-Lorraine Shulba.

KES Woodworks
A local Fort Saskatchewan wood working artist - featuring reclaimed and recycled wood and metal.
