The Original Grazing School for Women
Event Information
About this event
We're back! Come and join us for 2 days of learning in the Bruce area (Beaver County) on June 14 and 15. We'll have speakers on invasive species in Alberta, get the low down on beneficial insects on the landscape, learn about riparian areas and their importance, and get some hands on experience determining the health of your riparian area. See below for detailed agenda.
Day 1 will be mostly in a classroom setting, with an optional Paint Night after supper. Day 2 will be a field day, and will mostly take place outside. Please bring appropriate outdoor gear - we will be going ahead outside rain or shine!
The event will take place at Bruce Community Hall in Bruce, AB (Beaver County). Suggested accommodations are in Vegreville.
Lunch and supper are covered for June 14, and breakfast and lunch are covered for June 15.
A fun Paint Night is optional after supper on June 14 - cost is $35, and you will be able to take home a wonderful painting of your creation, guided by Kelly's Paint Night! If you are interested in this Paint Night, please register for this separately (sold as a separate ticket) as this is NOT included in the regular ticket. Cash or cheque to be paid at the time of the event.
Cost is $75 for both days, $45 for just one day (paint night is an optional, additional cost). Please select the appropriate ticket for the day(s) that you will be attending.
Cash or cheque to be paid at the time of the event. Sorry, no etransfers or credit/debit payments available.
Registration closes June 3.
