Hi! My name is Connie. I am a mom to a 9 year old and 6 year old and an experienced Kindergarten and primary teacher.

As a playroom consultant, I use my teaching and parenting experiences to help parents create a home environment that is based on the principles of play-based learning. I offer in-home consultations in the Toronto area and virtual consultations for wherever you are!

In this webinar, I will share tips on how you can make a play space (whether it is large or small) for your child(ren) that:

• stimulates creative play

• is organized and easy to tidy up

• helps you limit screen time

• promotes learning

• provides calm and relaxation

I cover solutions for toy organization, storage, and display.

All the types of play and examples of toys and materials for each area are covered, e.g., building, drama, art.

I share strategies for reducing the amount of toys you have and suggestions for which toys are best to encourage imagination and creativity.

You will have the information you need to create your own engaging, uncluttered play space!

There will be time for Q & A at the end of the presentation, if you have any questions that aren’t answered.
