Join us for an evening of unique Vancouver wines and the cuisine of Chef Christopher Floyd. Cityside Winery, in partnership with Chef Floyd will be presenting a Five Course Tasting Menu, paired with a selection of wines vinified here in the heart of Vancouver's False Creek neighbourhood, as well as others from around the world.
A graduate of the nationally recognized Stratford Chef School, Chef Floyd has cooked at some of Canada's most highly acclaimed restaurants, as well as Michelin rated kitchens in England and Italy. His deep love of gastronomy, viticulture and the arts are reflected in his visually stunning, deeply delicious, and perfectly paired menus.
After apprenticing at Michelin starred Villa Fiordaliso on Lake Garda, Italy, Chef Floyd has cooked at some of Canada's premier restaurants including The Terrace at Mission Hill, and Bluewater Cafe and Rawbar. In 2014 he spent 9 weeks in France, studying the wines, cuisine and terroirs of Bordeaux and the Loire Valley.
