About this Event

The Power of Fostering Positive Teacher-Student Relationships

We know that positive teacher-student relationships translate to effective teaching and learning outcomes. However, emerging research is giving a clearer picture of how teachers can build and leverage strong relationships with their students. In this workshop, educators will learn how to delve deeper, engage with students, and figure out their curiosity, interests, and habits of mind in order to create and sustain an effective learning environment. Educators will learn how their teaching approach affects relationships with students and impacts a students’ identity and sense of belonging
