The Proptech Society is hosting a special executive only conference for corporate and entrepreneurial thought leaders in San Francisco.

This conference will be one of the conferences during our Emerging Tech Day @ Deloitte. The Proptech conference will take place from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm but by purchasing this ticket will give you access to the full day from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm! Come by the other conferences to learn more about Blockchain & eSports.



What is the Proptech Society?

The PropTech Society is dedicated to driving the growth of PropTech by educating the marketplace. This exclusive invite-only conference will be attended by PropTech industry executives, entrepreneurs, influencers, and media.

With our friends, partners, journalists, communicators and executives from across the Proptech industry, we will be discussing industry news and trends. With the goal being to deliver vital, trustworthy information and analysis in the most efficient way possible.

Speakers:

Andrew Jewett is the co-founder and CEO of Aperture a real estate technology and investment company based in Los Angeles. Aperture is a leading data and technology company focused on the SFR space and bringing technology to an otherwise outdated industry. Aperture issued the first ever asset backed fund in tokenized form, Property Coin, in 2018 and has been a leading figure in the STO and real estate tokenization space.

Jon Dishotsky is the co-founder and CEO of Starcity, a startup building a new category of real estate called coliving. Designed to help make cities accessible to anyone, Starcity offers its residents a comfortable living experience with a private, fully furnished bedroom complemented by warm, inviting shared kitchens and living spaces. Prior to co-founding Starcity in 2016, Jon spent more than ten years in commercial real estate, helping companies expand their headcount globally. Jon holds a Bachelor’s degree in Managerial Economics from UC Davis and is based in San Francisco, CA.

Sina Shekou is co-founder and CEO of Aptly. Prior to Aptly he was an SVP at RealPage, running the LeaseStar Division. Mr. Shekou co-founded Propertyware, the first cloud-based property management, which sold to RealPage in 2009. He is a 20-year veteran of the software industry having worked at Oracle Corporation and an early team member of Salesforce.com where he pioneered cloud computing and the web-based software model. He has been involved in the real estate industry for more than two decades as an active board member, asset owner/operator, technologist and active property tech investor.

Herman Chan is a trilingual Mass Communications major from UC Berkeley, Herman combines traditional marketing strategies and millennial tech savvy for unprecedented results. An author, speaker and TV personality Herman is routinely sought after to provide key insight into the real estate market and beyond for television and news outlets, such as HGTV, CBS, CNET, MSNBC, CBS, PBS, CNN, Money USA, Today, US News & World Report. He is also the Luxury Chair of Asian Real Estate Association of America and top 1% nationally ranked agent. He was crowned #1 top producer at Golden Gate Sotheby's International Realty.

Anthemos Georgiades is the co-founder and CEO of Zumper, the largest residential rental startup in the US with $90 million raised and over 10 million visits each month. Zumper's mission is to make renting an apartment as easy as booking a hotel. Before Zumper, Anthemos worked for The Boston Consulting Group in London and NYC, and as an Economic Advisor on the 2010 British election. He has a BA from Oxford, an MPhil from Cambridge, and an MBA with Distinction from Harvard Business School.

Henry Elder specializes in asset tokenization, blockchain strategy, and project management through his company, Digital Asset Advisors. As Director of Origination & Investment for Slice, Henry tokenized one of the first commercial properties in the US. He is also the President of the International Blockchain Real Estate Association (www.ibrea.network). He has been internationally recognized for his work, speaking at conferences and working with companies throughout the United States, Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Asia. Prior to founding Digital Asset Advisors, Henry worked at Latitude Real Estate Investors, a real estate private equity fund; George Smith Partners, a real estate investment bank; and ValueAct Capital, a hedge fund. He has arranged and underwritten over $1 billion of investments across the real estate and technology sectors.

Scott Tandoi graduated UW School of Mechanical Engineering in 2011 where he was an aerodynamic research technician. After a brief tour at Boeing working on the 787 Dreamliner, he worked at TESLA for 7 years working on the Model S, X, 3, Semi Truck, Powerwall, and Solar Roof. Currently he is managing hardware design at Bumblebee Spaces, working to revolutionize living spaces through automated ceiling furniture. The Bumblebee System effectively doubles the square footage of any room by projecting two floor plans on top of each other. He resides in the beautiful Cow Hollow neighborhood of San Francisco.

Diana Thai is a co-founder of Voyajoy. Dartmouth BA and Stanford MA in Computer Science graduate. She founded SAT prep school for the I Have A Dream Foundation. Diana developed a social gaming app, grew it to 4-Million active users and sold it to Facebook Gaming Developer Studio.
