About this Event

UPDATE: This event has been changed to Monday, October 28 due to the federal election.

Libraries play a role in the social fabric of our communities; celebrate October Library Month by learning how: "An act of civil disobedience turns into a standoff with police when homeless people in Cincinnati take over the public library to seek shelter from the bitter cold."

Join us at the Morinville Public Library for a free screening of Emilio Estevez' The Public, followed by a panel discussion on homelessness and the people who experience it. Tickets for the movie screening and the panel discussion on homelessness (to start after the movie at 8:00 PM) can be obtained separately.
