His impeccable ear for music is enthusiastically matched by his genuine love of writing and performing interesting, intricate songs with his band. His latest effort, Soul Hammer, is a characteristically eclectic mix of funk, reggae, rock n roll, and R&B. Despite these seemingly incongruent threads, the tapestry the album weaves is cohesive and compelling and showcases the best of Randy’s songwriting as well as the excellence of his band.
