Event description
Presenting the results of the European Red Lists of Bryophytes, Pteridophytes, Saproxylic Beetles, Terrestrial Molluscs and Vascular Plants

About this Event

IUCN and Bruxelles Environnement invite you to an interactive event to present the results of the LIFE European Red Lists project: ‘Establishing a European Red List of Bryophytes, Pteridophytes, Saproxylic Beetles, Terrestrial Molluscs and Vascular Plants'.

You will have the opportunity to engage with the latest European Red List findings and identify the implications on conservation and environmental policy, both at a European and national-level.

The event will consist of a mixture of short presentations by international species and conservation planning experts, biodiversity policy experts and members of the European Commission, as well as multiple interactive panel discussions where all attendees will be encouraged to participate.

Experts will present the results of their respective European Red Lists, followed by discussions on what they signify for conservation planning and EU nature and biodiversity policy in the future, and conclude with discussions on ways to increase the reach of European Red Lists.

For a detailed agenda, please click here: FINAL EVENT PROGRAMME.

A reception will follow the event to give participants the opportunity to interact more closely with species, conservation planning and policy experts. For more information on the agenda and invited speakers, please message Event Coordinator Phil Rekret by clicking 'Contact' below.

We can't wait to meet you!
