Derek Miller Bio

Two-time JUNO winning singer/songwriter/guitarist Derek Miller from Six Nations of the Grand River is a journeyman musician with eclectic taste and a knack for guitar oriented roots-inflected rock with a pop sensibility. With his unique take on roots rock, and soul-stirring blues, Derek Miller is a force of musical nature.

Jace Martin Bio

Jace Martin was raised on Six Nations, Ontario and began singing professionally at the age of 13 at area music venues, festivals and on stage in Toronto, Ontario under mentorship from Canada's Queen of Jazz and Grammy Nominee Salome Bey in a theatre production called, "Rainboworld" that launched the career of R&B Superstar Deborah Cox and many more including Jace Martin.

The Johnnys Bio

The Johnnys are an Ontario-based rock’n’roll band founded by spouses Veronica Johnny (lead vocals/ manager/ producer/ writer) and Dave Johnny (drums/ producer/ writer). The duo’s early recordings are more punk influenced, characterized by fun, up-tempo songs while later releases have a classic-rock feel.

Andre Morriseau Bio

For five years Andre worked as the secretariat for the National Aboriginal Achievement Foundation now Indspire and three years as the communications officer for the Chiefs of Ontario. He served three consecutive three-year terms on the James Bartleman Aboriginal Youth Creative Writing Awards Jury. He is on the DAREarts board of directors and is the director of Awards and Stakeholder Relations for the Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business.

For Open Mic registration email a short bio (100 words or less) to theresa.andpva@gmail.com. Open Mic is limited to four performers, nine mins each. Just vocal mic and acoustic instrument.
