The Red Tent Social
Sun, 30 October 2016, 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM EDT
Our menstrual cycle is a time of release and reflection. Traditionally, during the new moon women would gather together to care and nourish one another. When honoured among women we develop the ability to trust our inner wisdom and innate guidance.
Red Tent Socials are a non-judgmental, sacred space where we share stories, wisdom and compassion to one another while talking about menses health and self-nourishment.
Learn ways of coping with each aspect of your cycle and how to manage the flow of hormones and emotions with a variety of approaches.
The first hour will be a time for introduction and group work followed by an open hour for socializing and nourishment.
Light refreshment will be provided. A $10 donation will go to the local Women's Shelter. Register to save your spot as space is kept small to create a safe and cozy environment.
