Overview:

This year’s Durham Regional HIV/AIDS Conference will focus on the new prevention tools and strategies that are dramatically changing the landscape of HIV treatment and prevention. We are now in a new era of evolution in this pandemic. Come join us and learn all that is new around HIV in 2018.

Day 1 of this conference will provide you with a plethora of new information surrounding prevention methods, treatment and will look access to these new tools in Durham Region.

Day 2 will will focus on women with the In Her Skin forum during the morning, followed by an afternoon on the experience of HIV positive youth, as their needs as they transition from pediatric to adult HIV care. A panel of youth will share their experiences and you will learn about the AIDS Committee’s new Provincial Poz Youth Transition program.
