About this Event

Many of us speak of self-love; however, how many of us understand it and practice it daily? Self-love is loving yourself the way you want to be loved by another; it’s discovery of who you are. Join us on this journey as we go within to find out there is to know about your self-love!

The Self Love Tour is all about loving yourself and going within to find the love you want and need. In order to truly love yourself, you must be completely honest and love your good and your negative aspects. We must understand that what we consider to be “negative ” or “dark” may be the very lesson we need in order to propel forward and begin truly loving ourselves. You must also strip away the ego, which in today’s world is very difficult. We are bombarded with the superficial ‘self’, such as what we must wear, how we should look, how we should live, and having to live up to societal standards. Most of us crave to fit into the societal norm, and this is where I challenge you; why not be different? We need to teach that it’s better to stand out and be different than to fit in and get lost in the crowd. Some of us are afraid to actually voice what we feel, especially if it differs from societal norms. Talking about having dignity and respect for oneself is lost - it’s like a foreign language. We are living in a world where people are consumed with “me” and entitlement. The first thing people do is laugh at others, instead of having compassion and understanding for what someone is going through. Now is the time to take it back and learn who we really are. We must stand up for our own morals and values rather than do things because we feel pressured to conform. I have always said that if I could teach the world one thing it would be self-love. Why self-love?... because we should understand that we are all the same trying to find our sense of belonging. Furthermore, we must understand that greed and hatred aren’t part of loving unconditionally. If we truly loved ourselves, this world of hostility would be much different; it would eliminate the ego-driven actions of numbing pain through sex, drugs and money. Trying to “Keep up with the Joneses” so to speak wouldn’t exist and instead, we’d be in a world where we would could join hands and figure out how to help each other rise up and be the best we can be! It all starts with loving the self. So, join me in finding our way to a better you - a better place to live, a better earth, a better world.
