About this event
The best parties on the East Coast always end up in the kitchen,
where you are guaranteed to find great music, delicious food,
camaraderie and community. A house party in the Maritimes is
simply called a “Kitchen Party”!
We're excited to host an evening of casual fun and entertainment,
complete with East Coast inspired food stations, a high energy
Celtic band and a themed silent auction to raise much needed
funds for food security at My Friend’s House – connecting the link
between the kitchen and our need to supplement food costs.
The kitchen is the heart of the home, as it is in our shelter, and
providing healthy food and food education to our clients is one of
our top priorities. With inflation increasing the cost of our food,
raising extra funds to contribute to food costs is of the highest
necessity for us in 2023!
With your ticket, you'll receive:
- Maritime inspired food stations (mini fish n' chips, chowder, etc)
- 1 drink ticket
- incredible live entertainment from Strange Potatoes, playing some amazing East Coast favourites!
- ability to support food security at My Friend's House through our amazing silent auction
- a fun night out with friends!
