Event Details

How can we "be" with the chaos happening in our world right now?  How can we possibly find common ground and create stronger, healthier and more vibrant communities, if we are so utterly polarized in what we value?  What can we do?

Many people we talk to these days are struggling with feelings of powerlessness, some degree of hopelessness, and frustration with the political and socio-cultural climate we are currently faced with.
And so we introduce - The un-Book Club.  Every couple of months, we will be hosting an evening inspired by the teachings of a particular book that is relevant to our world and our work right now.
But this is no ordinary book club…wait for it...you don’t need to read the book before coming!  Instead, you will leave the workshop having experienced the teachings of the book through guided discussion and experiential exercises.
First up, The Anatomy of Peace: Resolving the Heart of Conflict by the Arbinger Institute.  This book does a beautiful job of getting to the heart of what happens to us when we are in conflict and how to take simple and effective steps to begin to move forward.

Join us for a vibrant evening of meaningful conversation, fun and connection with like-minded people as we explore this work together.  The event will take place in downtown Toronto (venue TBD) on Thursday, October 5th from 6:30-8:30pm.  Tickets are only $20 if you buy online before September 28th, $25 at the door (if space is available).

The teachings from The Anatomy of Peace have been a game changer for both of us and we can’t wait to share it with you!

"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it's the only thing that ever has.” - Margaret Mead
