The Whole Entrepreneur Model

Session 3: Step 03 – Is it Viable?

Session three of a four-part series; while sessions are related, you can attend whichever you'd like, in any order. Each registration is valid for up to two people.

Entrepreneurship is simultaneously the most rewarding and most challenging career path you can take. Similar to raising a child, it’s something no one can truly be ready for. However, Colin Christensen of ThinQ Business Ninjas is going to set you up to be the best entrepreneur possible.

The Whole Entrepreneur Model is designed to help both new and growing entrepreneurs find the answers that the veteran entrepreneurs we all admire already know. Seasoned investors, bankers, and mentors are successful because they understand the markers businesses must have to avoid landmines and achieve success. If you can answer the questions they are asking, you have the best chance of building a successful business.

Over 4 sessions, Colin Christensen will distill the essential building blocks to building a great company. There are a number of outcomes for this program:

  1. Build a business plan that attracts investors
  2. Grow a business that has the best chance of success
  3. Avoid landmines that take out most entrepreneurs
  4. Learn from what investors, bankers and veteran entrepreneurs know

Key Takeaways for Session 3

  • Cost of Acquisition of a client
  • Risks and countermeasures

About the Presenter

Colin Christensen

CEO, ThinQ Business Ninjas

Colin Christensen has the good fortune to live out his passion every day of helping others see around corners so they can build a better future. He has been working with entrepreneurs and leaders in and around business his whole life and has been mentoring and consulting businesses since the 90’s.

Through starting several businesses and working with entrepreneurs across the business lifecycle, he has experienced victories and defeats. One team went from 3 - 40 people while opening 4 branch offices in 24 months landing them at #27 on the list of fastest growing companies in Canada. Another team presented the opportunity to lead programmers, sound techs and artists to realize two award winning digital educational games. Colin has also raised millions through various investment strategies and pitches, successfully sold a business and has also lost everything.

Having roles as diverse as building log cabins to being a top Canadian recruiter, Colin has a book’s worth of life-altering stories that will surely make you grateful for what you have and will help you avoid many landmines. He proves that the right people and a simple, disciplined system is the difference between success and failure, easy and hard, fun and frustrating.
