Event description

Description

When you visit a wine region anywhere in the world you'll notice one thing: the locals know it best!

Nova Scotia is a relatively new wine region, but it's growing fast and taking the wine world by storm! As proud Nova Scotians, we have a duty to understand this budding industry of ours - and help others get to know it, too!

For this reason, we are so excited to offer our first Wines of Nova Scotia course at Obladee. This is a 6-week, in-depth course designed for the beginner wine-enthusiast looking to develop their knowledge and understanding of Nova Scotian wine, Nova Scotian terroir and the food that goes with it!

Class will be held each Tuesday evening from 6-8:30 July 2 - July 30 with a day trip to the valley Sunday Aug 4. Each class will include a full lecture with detailed notes, along with regional wine and food pairings. A comprehensive course manual will be provided for you to keep.

The course is developed and led by Sommeliers Heather Rankin and Erin Beazley with food pairings designed by head chef Josh McCarty.
