This eye-opening documentary tells the story of Canadian scientist Dr. Anne Innis Dagg as she retraces her 1956 journey to South Africa to study giraffes in the wild; four years before Jane Goodall ventured into the world of chimpanzees. Anne become the first person in the world to study animal behaviour in the wild in Africa. When she returned home armed with ground-breaking research, the insurmountable barriers she faced as a female scientist proved much harder to overcome.

Atlantic ConnecTions Conference participants can attend this viewing for free. Members of the public will be charged the small fee of $5. Limited seating is available, please RSVP or purchase a ticket.

Viewing will take place at UPEI in the AVC Building, Theatre A.
