About this event

Creativity resides in all of us, and Therapeutic Art is a perfect way to tap into the limitless capacity that we all have. Experience the therapeutic effects of many of the exercises that everyone can do included in this Therapeutic Art Course.

About the Course:

Therapeutic Art for all occurs every Wednesday at 7 pm from 1 June - 6 July, divided into three parts as below.

  • Section One: An Introduction to Therapeutic Art

We gain an understanding of what exactly Therapeutic Art is and the various forms of Therapeutic Art that exist.

  • Section Two: Therapeutic Art and Self-exploration

We begin with an introduction to this section.

The scribble drawing to unwind is a great stress reliever, an easy exercise but very successful in relaxing the body and mind.

Write and illustrate a love letter to yourself. It's a perfect practice to recognise and appreciate your special qualities.

  • Section Three: Art for Pure Pleasure

We start with the introduction to Mandalas (Sanskrit word meaning circle). They are beautiful designs that are pleasurable to make.

Creating Mandalas, symbolic imagery and a sense of self.

After the introductory session on 10 May, we decided to provide you more opportunities to join the future course and as a result of your feedback you will now be able to attend each session separately or as a whole. The following are the prices:
