About the Course:
Therapeutic Art for all occurs every Wednesday at 7 pm from 1 June - 6 July, divided into three parts as below.
- Section One: An Introduction to Therapeutic Art
We gain an understanding of what exactly Therapeutic Art is and the various forms of Therapeutic Art that exist.
- Section Two: Therapeutic Art and Self-exploration
We begin with an introduction to this section.
The scribble drawing to unwind is a great stress reliever, an easy exercise but very successful in relaxing the body and mind.
Write and illustrate a love letter to yourself. It's a perfect practice to recognise and appreciate your special qualities.
- Section Three: Art for Pure Pleasure
We start with the introduction to Mandalas (Sanskrit word meaning circle). They are beautiful designs that are pleasurable to make.
Creating Mandalas, symbolic imagery and a sense of self.
