About this event

This year's open house will be virtual! Over three evenings, familes will get to listen to a quick presentation from each community program, followed by a chance to meet with the programs that interest them in breakout rooms to ask questions and learn more.

The three evenings will be divide by age;

  • September 28 - Preschool (0-6 yrs)
  • September 29 - School Aged (6-12 yrs)
  • September 30 – Youth (12-18 yrs)

This open house is an opportunity for families and service providers to meet with many of the community-based recreation, leisure, and sport programs that are available for children and youth with disabilities in the London region.

Meet with the coaches and participants of these programs, ask the questions you have always wanted to know, and meet with other parents that are also exploring different opportunities.

Some of the programs that may be in attendance are: London Blizzard Sledge Hockey Program, George Bray Sports Association, A League of Our Own Soccer Club, Vipers Cheerleading Squad, Heroes’ Circle Karate, Dance London, Making Waves Swim Program… and others.

If you have any questions or are looking for more details about this evening, please contact a Recreation Therapist at tr@tvcc.on.ca or 519-685-8700 ext 53374.
