Thinking & Acting Differently: The Collective Impact Opportunity
Collaboration – with funders, allies and community partners – is a significant part of how our work gets done these days. But, not all forms of collaboration are the same. Collective Impact is a unique form of collaboration that has made positive changes on tough community issues like increasing physical activity in families, engaging youth, reducing obesity, and reducing poverty. This session will highlight the mindset shift it requires, and share stories that demonstrate how Collective Impact addresses a diverse array of community issues.
This workshop will be hosted by the Ontario Trillium Foundation in collaboration with the Tamarack Institute, one of Canada’s most established thought leaders on using the Collective Impact approach to solve entrenched social issues. The session will be held on Wednesday October 19th, at 2:00pm, the day before Nonprofit Driven 2016, the Ontario Nonprofit Network's province-wide event for all Ontario nonprofits. We encourage participants to join this event and learn more about the trends, issues and opportunities for a stronger sector together.
Please RSVP to attend this event.
