Description

Using the Circular Economy’s Proactivity to Bring About Environmental and Economic Benefits

Have you ever wondered how the Circular Economy could benefit your organization, business, society and the environment at the same time? As a follow up to the May 2019 Circular Economy Workshop, the Consulate-General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Toronto in partnership with the Canada Circular Hotspot will be hosting a circular economy workshop on Thursday October 10, directly following the Canadian Waste to Resource Conference.

During this workshop we will:

  • Present a brief overview of circular economy key concepts

  • Introduce Holland and Canada Circular Hotspots and their collaboration potential

  • Highlight progress of circular economy thinking, policy and best practices in the Netherlands and Canada, with real world examples

  • Identify a circular economy project on which both ‘Hotspots’ could collaborate, including timelines and desired concrete outcomes o Establish connections between Canadian and Dutch experts and interested parties, involved in the circular economy field

Light refreshments will be served.
