As an administrative decision-maker, your decision is limited by the jurisdiction given to you by legislation and the application of principles of administrative law. However, you have considerable discretion in matters of procedure.
Many administrative decision-makers do not think very much about procedure. However, you can use your discretion in this area to improve both your experience and the experience of the participants.
In this Essential Training session, you will learn to think creatively about hearing procedure. You will be given practical tips and tools you can implement right away to take the skill of managing hearings to the next level.
