Third Screening of The Red Pill
Event Information
Description
Our first two screenings of The Red Pill were sold out, and we had to turn large numbers of people away at the door because we didn't have space. So we are organizing a third screening on December 18.
The Red Pill is the first big screen documentary about men's issues and Men's Rights Activists, produced by independent filmmaker Cassie Jaye. Jaye, who began the project as a feminist skeptical of the legitimacy of men’s issues, tells how she had her eyes opened to the reality of discrimination against men and boys and the need for society to address men’s as well as women’s issues
This controversial film was originally to be screened at Ottawa's Mayfair Theatre, but this screening was cancelled by the Theatre when protestors applied pressure to theatre sponsors. CAFE specializes in hosting civil and respectful dialogue about socially contentious issues. Come and see what the fuss is about. The Revolutionary Student Movement claims that The Red Pill is misogynist, hate propaganda. Come and check it out for yourself.
