About ThriveNorth:

ThriveNorth enhances entrepreneurship opportunities in the Northwest region of British Columbia and empowers young and aspiring business owners. A joint initiative between Futurpreneur Canada and Prince Rupert LNG (the LNG project proposed for Ridley Island), it provides resources, financing and mentoring to help entrepreneurs aged 18-39 launch and grow their own businesses and connects them with other support in their communities.

ThriveNorth was launched in November 2014 through a five-year partnership established by Youth Business International (YBI), a global non-profit organization that supports youth entrepreneurship organizations. Futurpreneur Canada is YBI's Canadian partner and has been supporting young and emerging business owners since 1996.
