Join us for a workshop designed to help you:

  • Stay mentally strong in the job and at home with some simple boundary and affirmation strategies

  • Learn the value of Yoga in getting the most out of life in the face of stress and make the connection between body & mind

  • Understand the steps in conducting a career transition plan

  • Feel less isolated by learning from others in similar situations

Workshop Presenters:

Peter McSherry, Employment Lawyer

Born in Glasgow, Scotland, Peter McSherry was raised primarily in Kingston, Ontario. He earned a bachelor of commerce degree in 1992 and a bachelor of law degree in 1995 from Queen’s University in Kingston.

Following his call to the Ontario Bar in 1997, he established Peter A. McSherry Law Office as a sole proprietorship in Guelph. His focus on representing individuals in their employment matters has helped him engage with and fight for his clients in a way that makes them feel assured and confident

Wayne Greenway, Senior Partner Career Aviators

Wayne Greenway has devoted his career to helping individuals and organizations thrive. As the founder of Career Aviators, he has empowered more than 1,000 clients and workshop participants to take control of their future. In the process, he has continually refined the Career Aviators methodology, creating a proven strategy for successful career transitions. Ninety-seven percent of his clients who completed the programme found careers they love.

Prior to Career Aviators, Wayne spent more than 20 years honing his facilitation skills, teaching in the Faculty of Medicine/Health Sciences at Queen’s University and leading experiential learning workshops for wide range of national, provincial and local organizations. He recently managed the highly successful 2nd Canadian Conference on Positive Psychology.

Kelly Romanick, Yoga Teacher & Body Mechanic, Mosha Yoga Guelph,

For 18 years, Kelly Romanick has been curious of the body & the effects of different kinds healing modalities for her own body & mind. Yoga helps her connect to herself, which in turn, allows healing to occur in its own way and time. As a yoga teacher for more than 10 years, a Massage therapist for more 15 year & a current student for Osteopathy, she is intrigued by all the layers of the body and how to adapt and support for each individual. 

Kelly loves teaching techniques that facilitate stress management which ultimately provide the tools to bring you to a better place & thrive. You know what they say: " If you don't use it ... you lose it!"

Susan McDaid Earl, RN, The Wellness Collaborative,

Susan has worked in the mental health field for over 35 years in both in-patient and community settings. She has extensive experience supporting a broad range of mental health issues including mood disorders, PTSD, eating disorders, grief issues and schizophrenia.

Her current practice focuses on mental health education through group-based workshops covering a variety of life issues, including sleep difficulties, assertiveness and boundary setting, and grief and loss.

Susan’s professional memberships include registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario, the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario and the Canadian Nurses Association.
