Sober Saturdayz is teaming up with one of Edmontons fav thrifting spots FINDYEG (south)!

If you've never been to FINDYEG youre in for a treat. Not only do they have two locations but they also work closely with the Housing First program here in Edmonton. What is the housing first program you ask? Its an unreal program put together for people/families who are in desperate need of furniture/house hold items. If you dont know me you probably dont know this, but back in 2010 I peronally went through the housing first program, so this project is SUPER close to my heart.

THE DETAILS:

When - April 27th, 6-9pm

Where - FindYeg South

Admission - 5.00 and anything you are "spring cleaning" and want to donate (instead of throw away)

Whats going on - Tidy up with Sober Saturdayz will be hosting local food vendors (local omnivore, pink gorilla, cotton candy shope etc) to sell delicious drinks and treats. As well as local craft/clothing vendors (lawless vintage, honey lounge, colour me weird, wooded grove wellness etc).

Music - This event is focusing on praising our local FEMALE DJS (Future Spice, Ceeevs and GirlsClub)

On top of all this FindYeg will have their 20,000 sq ft shop open for business and of course Sober Saturdayz will be brewing up some tasty ... brews!

So come on down this fine Saturday (of course), bring your friends, kids, family, THE WORKS. Weve got a little something for everyone.
