Introducing a long awaited and requested process at Site 3. TIG welding!!! AKA GTAW(GasTungstenArcWelding)This process requires the highest level of skill, intention and focus to execute properly. You must have taken 1 of the previous classes to qualify for this class as the fundamentals are needed before focusing on the many little details needed in the TIG process. Steel and Stainless steel will be the focus of this class.
Safety requirements: Long sleeve clothing made from natural materials (old cotton clothing you don’t mind getting dirty) is mandatory. Bring safety glasses (must be worn the duration of the class, can be purchased at Dollar store), wear closed toe shoes, no jewelry, hair must be tied back. Face masks must be worn inside of building.
