Online event
A shared, creative and open space to get in touch what your desire and explore what is it that you want from your work.
About this event
Time Out of Time → a collective space outside of the usual rush of life to slow down, reflect and explore together.
This gathering we’ll explore our relationship to desire. What do we want from our work and life? What’s important to us? How do we own what we want? What's in our way of knowing and asking for what we want?
The time together will be made up of a combination of journaling, reflection, conversation, music, guided activities and more. A clearer understanding of what you want is guaranteed.
Who is this for?
Anybody feeling burned out, uninspired, uncertain, and unfulfilled by their work, who knows it's time for a change and is ready for it.
Our work can be a creative expression of who we are rather than a draining necessity.
Some things past participants had to say:
"I really appreciated the ability to reflect along with others through these prompts. I think so much of my work is a solo activity (at least in terms of my physical space) that sometimes I can really use an outside community to collaborate with to get creativity (or even just alternative thinking) flowing. In essence, hearing from others as well as the ability to have time to personally reflect and share some of my own thoughts with others has been really rewarding."
"I thought it was pretty awesome! It was not what I would have expected, but that is a good thing! Very fun & refreshing, even if I did get smacked with some heavy stuff"
"The one on one interaction was very intimate & tender; most day to day interactions with people aren't like that. It's always just really nice when people show up in a container with real willingness to see & be seen"
"I discovered some stuff I didn't see/realize before — or at least it hadn't dawned on me as fully. My letter to work was a great experience, and I saw it framed as a 'vehicle' for liberation (coming from my Buddhist background, I'm taking my Bodhisattva vows very seriously). That was a revelation for me, to see work as a vehicle that I could work on, make requests of, adjust, tweak, and communicate with as part of a flowing process through time. That was a cool realization to have, and I'd like to hold onto that one forever :)"
"I really appreciated this workshop and what everyone brought to it. It's helped me figure out some key things I feel like I can tangibly move forward with."
Can't wait to share space and explore with you what lights you up!
