Our doors are open and you can explore our breathtaking House and - until January 17th, only - our Christmas exhibit of delightful seasonal decor integrated into our existing Victorian ambiance. Our seasonal Christmas designs are conceived and installed by a different roster of professional Calgary designers each year. This year's theme is done with a nod toward theatrical design with a big visual impact. You will find lots of charm and warmth in our House's original materials and layout, with a "punch" of bold and colourful theatrical flair overlaid until January 17th.

Come down and explore the House at your own pace during self-guided tour windows! In order to maintain a safe experience, self guided tours are offered in timed-entry windows to support physical distancing of guests. As per AHS guidelines, timed entry will allow no more than 24 guests (an average of approximately 8 people per floor) to explore the House at one time, and masks must be worn at all times by everyone visiting and working in the House.

On your self-guided tour, you will get to immerse yourself in the grand architecture and unique finishings that make Lougheed House a truly special place to visit. Our Shop is open if you’re inspired to take home a unique gift item from one of our local artisans whose creations we are proud to sell.

Note: wearing a mask is mandatory for everyone visiting Lougheed House (in compliance with the City of Calgary Face-Coverings Bylaw). If you do not have a mask, you can purchase one at our Shop immediately upon entering the House.

Interested in a Guided Tour of Lougheed House? Follow the link to learn more about our small group guided tours, led by one of our Interpreters. General Admission is included in your Guided Tour Experience Ticket and is a great way to learn about the Histories contained within Lougheed House.

Cleaning protocols will be fully exercised between tours with ongoing touch point cleaning occurring during tours on a loop through the House.

Please note that once all timed entry tickets are claimed we will not be able to admit any more guests to Lougheed House on a given day. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we reopen our doors in a safe and considered manner.
