Wed Sept 20: Numerical Modelling of Multi-Stage Fractured Wells in Low-Permeability Reservoirs

Discover how to handle multi-million cells models containing hydraulic fractures. In this session we will show the runtime acceleration from using CPU+GPU on these very heterogeneous models. We will discuss the Local Grid Refinement options included in tNavigator. And we will demonstrate the use of streamlines to better understand drainage areas and to assess interference.


Wed Oct 25: Waterflood Forecast for Reservoirs with Multi-Stage Fractured Wells

Waterflood simulations in low permeability reservoirs with multi-stage fractured wells require the best hardware and software. Learn how tNavigator can handle big heterogeneous models by fully using the CPU+GPU calculation power. And discover how to use Streamlines + Drainage Network analytics to describe and optimize your Waterfloods.


Wed Nov 22: Compositional Modelling of Low Permeability Reservoirs with Multi-Stage Fractured Wells

The tNavigator suite includes a fully functional PVT Designer tool. Learn how to create your compositional PVT by matching laboratory data. The resulting compositional PVT will be integrated to a low permeability model that includes multi-stage fractured wells. We will use Streamlines to visualize flow trends, and the production forecast will be compared to the black oil version.


Wed Dec 13: Integrated Uncertainty Quantification for Development Planning of a Large Field

In this session we will review a practical case of an integrated uncertainty assessment study for a large multi-layered oil field with more than 200 projected wells. The workflow included various uncertainties types: reservoir structure, reservoir properties, absolute and relative permeability, and well productivity parameters. The key objective was to define conceptually different models that match data history, and to propose an optimized development plan for the next 25 years.
