Toddler/Pre-School Creative Arts - Utensil Painting

About This Session

Activity: Utensil Painting

We’ll be creating a painting, however we’ll be using utensils as our paintbrushes. Artists use many different tools to create works of art, it is fun to get children creative with using different tools. We’ll be enhancing fine motor skills and tool use as we explore utensils as paint brushes.

Materials needed:

• Variety of kitchen utensils
• Paint and container to put it in (may choose to have a few colours)
• Paper or a canvas

About Our Creative Arts Sessions

Young children like to explore colours and textures. This program offers preschool children an opportunity to be creative, to explore new ideas, and express their imagination and creativity while supporting early learning skills.
