Friends Who Are Going
Event description

Description

Tom Allen & Friends visit Kingston Road United Church again, this time with a story inspired by the pioneering environmental novel "The Last Curlew" written by local Beach resident Fred Bodsworth. The Last Curlew follows the 13,000 km migration of a lone, critically endangered Eskimo Curlew in search of a mate. Music by Alexine Louie, Ralph Vaughan Williams, and R. Murray Schafer.

Join Katya Nosko from the Great Escape on October 3rd, 2pm at the Taylor Memorial Branch Library (1440 Kingston Road) for a lively discussion about the book before the concert!

You have the option to purchase tickets to the full season of tickets for $80 vs $100 if you purchased tickets individually. This would include Oct 15/17 1:30pm Tom Allen "The Last Curlew", Nov 10/17 8pm Remembrance Day Concert with Scott Good & Friends, February 10/18 8pm Valentine's Day Jazz Concert, and March 25/18 1:30pm Joe Trio Concert.
