Description

With thousands of students competing for the title of becoming the next DECA Champion, how will YOU stand out? How will the judge remember YOU? How will YOU ensure that your scoresheet is at the top of the pile, making you the next DECA Champion? In this workshop led by Joshua Duong, a form DECA champion, and Chapter President, participants will learn how to organize their ideas, what judges are looking for during a presentation and what makes them memorable. Joshua will also share his own winning formula for case competitions and take you through his “DECA Toolbox”.

About Joshua Dong: Joshua Duong is currently a managing partner at two startups companies, Fusion Capital Group and Hockey Futures and has worked for TD Bank as a Manager of Customer Service. While attending Ryerson University, Joshua was heavily involved with student clubs. He was a President of DECA Ryerson, Captain of JDCC Ryerson and the Case Competition Director for the Ted Rogers Management Conference. Josh has also participated in various business case competitions and is an international business case competition champion. He is equally as passionate in developing and helping students compete in case competition by leading workshops and coaching students. Joshua says that “the best feeling is seeing those who you have coached stand there on the stage as winners.”

This workshop runs for 45 minutes with three time choices: 11:00 am, 1:00 pm or 2:00 pm. You can select the time you prefer when you register for this workshop.
