What's the info for parking and travel?

Society Clubhouse is accessible through TTC and there are plenty of street parking options. Street parking on side streets is free for 3 hours until midnight and there is paid parking on College St. There is also a Green P lot on Harrison (3-4 minute walk from venue, it is at Dundas and Dovercourt)

Are all jokes on climate?

Roughly 50% of the content would be on climate while the rest will be a great mix of various topics.

What are premium seats?

The front 3 rows are booked as premium seats to give you the best view in the house. The seating at the venue is first come first sit basis for the general ticket which start at Row 4 and beyond.

Will the show be recorded?

Some parts of the event will be recorded for promotional purposes. Please inform the host if you do not wish to be recorded.

Comedy is subjective and although it is never a comic's intention, you may find some material offensive or inappropriate. Viewer discretion is advised. All performances are intended for entertainment purposes only. The venue and organisers are not responsible for a comic's content.

Hello climate friends! 👋 Are you climate conscious and stressed about what is happening? Do you want to have fun while doing your part? We have got the best show for you where your laughs will make the world a better place 💚

We are back for our 5th show 😊 Our first 4 shows had an audience of 340 people! These are experts, activists, volunteers, professionals, founders, students and influencers in the climate space. So far we have raised $2500 for climate initiatives 🙇‍♂️

A) Raising money for Scarborough Environmental Association 💰 !

Dhama is this show's producer and a stand-up comedian. There is one problem though, he and some of his comic friends have never performed in Scarborough! Whenever he brought this up he was given different reasons not to perform in Scarborough (comedy won't work there / it is too far / no TTC - you can only go in and might never get out 😈). However, when he met the Scarborough Environmental Association (SEA) team he realised what a wonderful place Scarborough is and how SEA is making a sea of a difference there! He has agreed to do his first show in Scarborough in early 2026 (for free!) and bring his comic friends too - if we are able to raise $500 CAD for SEA's Scarborough Repair and Renew program. SEA and Small Change Fund are partnering together on the project. Bring Dhama to Scarborough by donating for the campaign here!

About SEA: Scarborough Environmental Association (SEA) is a grassroots organization of local residents that engage in neighbourhood advocacy through community service. From bike repair initiatives aimed at building support for active transportation infrastructure to free pollinator plant giveaways for conservation education, they organize a diverse range of events and advocate for a wide range of issues. Together, their goal is make Toronto's largest borough a kinder, greener place.

Our pre-show socialising and networking has been absolute hit! This time we are extending it to 90 minutes and have special happy hours at the bar. Come meet your next climate mentor / friend / founder / employer!

Just like the first four editions, we will be joined by 'Friends of Climate'. These are groups, organisations, startups which are making a difference for climate and seek your support as they do that.
