Toronto Sector Skills Academy Information Session
Tue, 26 July 2016, 9:30 AM – 11:00 AM EDT
To address the growing interest and need for sector-focused workforce development, the Metcalf Foundation is establishing the Toronto Sector Skills Academy. Its goal is to build the capacity of local leaders to grow, strengthen, and sustain sector strategies within the city. This leadership program is the first of its kind in Canada, and is offered by Metcalf in partnership with the Aspen Institute.
During this information session, Inclusive Local Economies Program Director Adriana Beemans will provide an overview of the 10-month program and answer questions in advance of its September 15th application deadline. Attendance is strongly encouraged for those considering applying to the program. However, it is not a prerequisite for submitting an application.
A webinar on the application process will be held on August 8th for those who are unable to attend our information session. More information about the Toronto Sector Skills Academy is also available on the Metcalf website.
If you have questions in advance of the information session, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
